Minutes of PMMF Meeting – 16th June 2010.

The 13th Meeting of PMMF was held on 16th June 2010at Dallah Taiba Hotel Madina Munnawarh.

65 doctors from the different hospitals and specialties attended the meeting in a very cordial atmosphere and shared ideas. Over 08 Lady Doctors from the different hospitals attended the meeting. 08 Pakistani community members also attended the meeting as guests.06 Saudi German hospital staff members including Chief Executive (Dr. Mohammad Hablas) , Director Urdu Community – Mr. Ashraf Chudry, Dr. Fattah El-Awden ( Medical Regional Manager G.C.C + President Ass. For Foreign Affairs) also attended the meeting. Mr. Yousef Balooch from Urdu News also attended the meeting for Media coverage.

This meeting was hosted jointly by the King Fahad Hospital, Ohad Hospital, Al-Ansar Hospital & Madina Maternity and Children Hospital and sponsored by the Saudi German Hospital. Dr.Khalid Mehmood supervised the Registration desk.The audio-visual and other relevant arrangements were supervised by Dr. Hamid Syed.       

Dr.Sajjad Sollanagi conducted the meeting successfully as Stage Secretary & Dr. Abdul Momin opened the meeting with the recitation of Holy Quran.  Dr. Sajjad Solangi-General Secretary PMMF in his short welcome speech greeted the participants.

Dr. Fazal Khwaja, Dr. Maqbool Bhatti, Dr. Moien, Dr. Aijaz and Dr. Zahoor , also attended the meeting as Special Guests. Their kind presence was highly appreciated by PMMf members.

Dr. Aftab Ahmed Shaikh presented comprehensively the 30 Months PMMF Performance. He talked about The PMMF Agenda and its achievements in details and highly appreciated, doctors and members of Pakistani community for their un-conditional support to achieve these goals. He specifically spoke about Free Medical Camps and presented data. About 4500 patients have been treated so far in Free Medical Camps while about 600 patients were provided Eye Glasses after Refraction. 150 Patients entertained Free Investigations while 50 Patients were given Specialized Treatment in different Madina Hospitals with the support of PMMF members.

He announced the proposed Diploma Program for Over Seas Doctors which would be implemented with the collaboration of Prof. Masood Hameed.VC Dow University of Medical Sciences. He asked doctors to submit Applications with their Intended Subject to. Dr. Bakhtiar Ahmed/Dr. Yousef Memon/Dr. Sajjad Solangi, so that complete data may be collected of doctors, who are interested to do this diploma.

 He also announced the dates of Free Medical Camp. The Next Free Medical Camp would be held on 02nd July2010 at Pakistan House-2 after Jummah Prayers.  

Dr. Aftab Shaikh also highly appreciated the efforts made by Dr. Bakhtiar Ahmed, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed, Dr. Imtiaz Ibrahim, Dr. Khalid Ahmed, Dr. Inayet Khliji, Mr. Murtazafor arranging different events of PMMF. Doctors who volunteer their services for Free Medical Camps were highly appreciated.

He also appreciated the sincere Co-operation of Pakistani Community members , Mr. Zahid Rao, Mr. Majeed Gadit and Mr. Ashraf Ali and also specially of Pakistan Consulate –Jeddah without which PMMF meetings /Family Function and Free Medical camps would have not been possible.

Dr. Hamid Saeed was also highly praised for maintaining PMMF website.

 The PMMF meeting was closed at 11.10 p.m. pm followed by formal Dinner. During the dinner participants interacted, discussed and shared different ideas for the betterment of PMMF.
